Preventative and De-escalation Strategies for Elementary Students with Challenging Behaviors

This presentation will focus on identifying the different intensities of behavior and why behaviors occur. Participants will reflect on behaviors they have experienced in the elementary school setting and will learn about preventative strategies, de-escalation strategies, and regulating their own responses and emotions.
