About me
My journey in elementary education spans 13 wonderful years, teaching Kindergarten, 1st, and 5th grades before stepping into my current role as an Elementary Specialist at Collegewood Elementary. As a certified NTC Project GLAD Trainer, I bring specialized expertise in creating engaging, accessible learning environments. My passion for supporting multilingual learners stems from my experience as an English learner – I deeply understand the challenges and opportunities of developing multiple languages. I'm dedicated to making content comprehensible for all students, drawing on my professional training and personal journey to help our students thrive as confident multilingual learners.
