About me
Jennifer Fetchik has over 25 years of experience in education. She currently is the Elementary Learning Specialist at Quail Summit. She has taught kindergarten, 3rd grade, 4th grade, and served as a reading intervention teacher. As a district trainer for Thinking Maps, Jennifer is passionate about equipping educators with effective strategies to enhance student learning.
Her dedication to professional growth is evident through her participation in the Cotsen Foundation, where she spent two years focusing on reading and is currently in her Post Fellowship Year with a school-wide emphasis on mathematics. She has further deepened her knowledge in math instruction through specialized training, including a three-day Cognitive Guided Instruction (CGI) workshop and a week at the California Mathematics Project at CSU Fullerton. Jennifer remains committed to fostering a rich learning environment for both students and teachers by integrating research-based practices in literacy and mathematics.
