About me
I have been teaching at English at Walnut High School for the past 26 years. I was hired straight out of the credentialing program at Cal Poly, Pomona. I did my high school student teaching at La Puente High School & my middle school student teaching at South Pointe. I earned my Masters in English in 2002 and then became a National Board Certified Teacher in 2017. I renewed my NBCT in 2020-2021 and I am getting ready to renew it again in 2025-2026. I was Teacher of the Year for the 2020-2021 school year.
