About me
My journey in education is fueled by a deep passion for empowering multilingual learners and fostering a love of reading. As an Elementary Learning Specialist and former Title 1 Specialist, I have over ten years of experience teaching kindergarten, first, and third grade, along with providing targeted reading intervention to students. Drawing from my training in Orton-Gillingham (OG) methodology and NTC Project GLAD, I’m dedicated to creating equitable and engaging learning experiences for all students. I believe in the power of collaboration and continuous learning, actively coaching and learning from teachers to create impactful instructional practices. I’m excited to share practical strategies and insights in this session while learning together to build our collective efficacy.
