I am a District School Psychologist and Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) at Walnut Valley Unified School District. I received my undergraduate degree at the University of La Verne and my master’s degree at California State University Los Angeles. I have worked for WVUSD for 7 years and have been a BCBA Psychologist for 13 years. I have worked at Collegewood Elementary as the school site psychologist; however, for the past 2.5 years, my role as the BCBA psychologist for the District is to provide behavior consultation, classroom management strategies, crisis support, and coaching to general education teachers and special education staff. I am also the District’s Nonviolent Crisis Prevention and Intervention (CPI) Trainer; while the CPI training is typically provided to special education staff, I also conduct trainings for general education staff regarding preventative strategies and de-escalation strategies to address students’ defensive behaviors.
